Adorkable Musings

In the past few weeks, there has been so much happening.  I am making plenty of plans for the newish year.  Lol.  And I am reading, so much reading.  Lol.  My mom finally visited town, and we have been having a good time.  I hope this is the beginning of a wonderful year.  Recently, I talked with some friends about how I did not think I would make it past forty.  Honestly, sometimes I am amazed that I am still here.  It constantly amazes me that I made it to this point.  Don’t get me wrong, life is still challenging, and I pray daily for peace of mind.  The fact that I survived and made it to this point makes me feel like I can do anything I put my mind to.  There are still bad days when it is hard to get out of bed.  Where I feel like I am overworked and underappreciated.  But then I remember how far I have come and the people in my life.  I am thankful for the lessons that I have learned and the accomplishments that I have achieved.
